The Balinese usually build a rice barn building called jineng, a special structure where the roof of the building is made high so that a large space is formed under the roof for storing crops, and space at the bottom is made of a kind of open wooden platform, which is used for sitting areas and multipurpose rooms, Jineng is usually placed in the center of the Balinese home, close to the kitchen so that it becomes a popular cozy place to gather and chat between family members.

The concept of Jineng is so interesting and essential which is the basic idea of ​​a Villa Cahaya design, Jineng which has a distinctive typology of roof shape allows the building to be processed into a more modern form, two-storey floor, high roof impression with a light base, this is reflected in the impression of the second floor covered with an ironwood roof.
